We are excited to announce the board’s decision to build onto the existing Gym here at BBC. Because of how God has brought camp growth we feel an additional indoor multi-purpose space is a wise thing to build. This addition will allow us to set up the activities listed below. We currently have the equipment and resources for these activities, but we are lacking the indoor space for them.
– Nine square in the air
– Crate stacking
– Rope climbing
– Pine wood derby track
– Indoor miniature golf
– An additional climbing wall with new structures and difficulties
– Corn hole, poor man’s golf, box hockey, spike ball
– Chapel
– Nerf wars
– Volleyball
Another exciting thing is that we already have $100,000 to go toward this project. The cost of this project is estimated at $568,000. In wisdom the board has said we will begin breaking ground when we have $300,000 in the bank. Wipf’s Excavation will start digging the foundation at that point. Don Hofer Construction has agreed to be the general contractor. The addition will be 48 feet by 80 feet and will be built on the west side of our present Gym.
This is a step of faith as we ask God to provide the funds for this addition to meet the needs of continual growth. We would like you to prayerfully consider what you can contribute to the growth of the camp. Right now, our challenge is to raise $200,000 so we may start this project.
