Jon Duba
Jon has been serving at Byron Bible Camp since 2000. He grew up in Worthington, Minnesota. He attended Northwestern College in Roseville, Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelor of Art in Ministries in 1982. In 1986 He graduated from Denver Seminary with a Masters in Christian Education. Jon served as a youth Pastor of First Baptist Church of Ellinwood, Kansas. Jon married Elizabeth in 1989 and later they went to the Philippines as missionaries with the North American Baptist Conference. Jon also served as youth pastor of Word of Life Baptist Church in Alpena, Michigan. Jon has enjoyed camp ministry for many year and likes to create another fun thing for kids to do at camp. Jon loves to hunt, fish, water ski and spend time with his adult children.

Katelyn Duba
Katelyn grew up at Byron Bible Camp, but is now back and desires to encourage camp to continue relying on God, help camp grow, and create new fun! Katelyn not only went to camp for as long a she could, but she started counseling as soon as she could and still does. One of Katelyn’s favorite things at camp is small group time in the evenings with campers. After attending Tabor college and Grace University, she graduated with a degree in Graphic Communication and Biblical Studies. Katelyn loves coaching soccer, sharing about camp, mentoring younger girls, leading mud games at camp, and being with her family!
Maintenance Assistant
Clinton Wipf
In April of 2002 Clinton Wipf came on staff as part-time to help with maintenance at the camp. Clinton retired from farming north of the camp in Spink County and desired to help a ministry. He now lives in Huron, SD after moving off his farm. He has been a great asset in the time he has been here. His experience from many years on the farm helps with a variety of projects. Clinton is happily married to his wife Diane, and he enjoys fishing and golfing. Clinton and his wife attend Prairie Bible Church.
Finances
Gayle Feistner
Gayle Feistner has taken the leadership role as the director of finances for the camp. Gayle is from Woonsocket, SD and a graduate of the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. He has a BS in accounting. Gayle likes to watch sports and go on walks. Gayle loves the Lord and attends Bethesda church in Huron, SD.
Registrar and Guest Group Coordinator
Kate Janzen
Kate was introduced to Byron Bible Camp in elementary and quickly grew to love camp life. Before becoming a part of full-time staff in May 2025, she served many summers as a counselor, summer staff member, and intern. Now she is ready to serve the Lord through camp ministry in every season by loving each person who comes to BBC with the love of Christ. Her favorite parts of camp are the community, night games, and the campfires. Kate grew up in MN and then graduated from Emmaus University in 2025 with a degree in Business Administration and Biblical Studies. Kate loves being with friends and family, running, and anything outside!
